Because there’s no other word to describe how incredibly blessed we all are this 2012.
We entered May 2012 with a simple meet-up of 40 JBnoys. Who knew that we would end that month with a week-long visit from a Jonas Brother? Who knew that we would end this year with two back-to-back concerts that culminated six years of wishing, wanting, hoping? Who knew that this would finally be the year that Kevin, Nick and Joe would come to our shores to fulfill our dream of singing along with them to the songs that made up the soundtrack of our lives?
Thank you for sticking around, JBnoys! We may have not met all of you but trust us when we say that being a Jonas Fan is like being a part of one of the best and biggest families in the world. We love you all so much! There are so many memories we want to share with you, but maybe you can help us here–comment with your favorite #JB2012 memories and keep the love alive.
Because there’s nothing else to do now, except to be thankful. We are so incredibly blessed with all that we have been given this year, and from this point, we can only look forward, together.
(And yes, we’re gunning for a Jonas Brothers Philippine Tour 2013.)

It’s been one month since #JBinManila and #JBinCebu. Can you believe it?
Before we talked of hashtags, of concert outfits, of tickets and seats and merch and meet-ups and post-concert depression, there was nothing else but waiting. And a lot of it.
We went through more or less six years, including four albums, two seasons of a TV show, one 3D movie, a wedding, a three-year hiatus, two solo albums, a handful of TV show guestings, one incredibly long stint on broadway, and a local clothing endorsement deal before we got a Jonas on our shores early this year.
After that happened, we felt like it was the tip of the iceberg–the so-called calm before the storm (no pun intended) and we couldn’t wait until we could get all three of them in our country.
Then, the announcement broke, and suddenly, the wait wasn’t so long anymore. Suddenly, six years seemed like peaches compared to the charged few weeks we had before we finally realized on October 17th when Kevin, Joe and Nick stepped into the humid Manila night amid screams and camera flashes that this was actually really happening.
We don’t need to tell you that dreams came true that week–thousands of fans who waited forever to meet and sing with the boys who were (and still are) their inspirations.
And as we look back on those wonderful memories one month hence, we at Jonas Brothers Philippines have realized that we have been lucky enough to receive the kindness of so many people over the years, and we want to take this opportunity to thank all of them one by one.
To That’s NTertainment productions, without whom October 19th and 20th would have never happened, we thank you so much for being the production company to finally, finally bring the Jonas Brothers to the Philippines. Thank you for two awesome shows, the press conference, the meet and greets. Thank you for the concert promotions, contests and opportunities you gave us for the fans, as well as the unexpected blessings on the concert date itself (for which we will forever be grateful). To Sir Nixon, sorry for being makulit fangirls(!) but we will always be thankful to you for being willing to work with us at all. We will continue to support your future concerts (btw The Fray was awesome)!
To MCA Music, including Sir Wilson, who pretty much helped us from the start–from making us official, giving us a website, making events for us over the years, thank you so much. Though album launches, movie premieres, promotions and contests, you handled our boys superbly. Though not all of the people we used to work with are still there, we hope you know that we have not forgotten everything you guys have done for us–and it is because of you that our community has grown from three people to thousands.
To Astroplus Music, thank you for the support over the years. Thank you for setting up album launches and special promotions for the Jonas albums released in the Philippines. On a more personal note, thank you so much to Ate Choy and Ate Charm who were always there for us when we needed them the most, and offered good advice and a helping hand and tons of prayers at crucial moments. Thank you, and we’re excited for the next album (hint hint!)
To Odyssey Music, who brought in a lot of the special fan packs, jewel bundles, co-sponsored the Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Experience movie premiere in 2009, you guys have been nothing else but all sorts of awesome. Thank you for the album launches and the events over the years. In those days, our doses of happiness came in purple or orange bags (which are now banned, but you get it) so we are grateful that you brought in their albums for us.
To Disney Channel Asia, thank you for reaching out to us for promotions and events when the boys were still on Disney. Thank you for all the prizes you allocated for us to give away to our fan club members. The boys’ stint at Disney was a memorable one, and even if they are not with them anymore, we’ll never forget that it was Disney that gave them a chance to get to where they are now.
To Total Girl and Candy Magazine, thank you for keeping us in the loop and publishing all sorts of Jonas features and covers over the years! A big big thank you too, for the Total Girl+ magazine which you guys released years ago! Because of that magazine, our community of Jonas fans blossomed, and we met friends who found out about us through you. Thank you for always making Kevin, Nick and Joe Candy Cuties (haha) and the awesome features about Joe’s visit. Much more happening in the Jonasverse soon! You guys really are every girl’s best friend. :)
To TourMerchAsia, who brought all the wonderful merch to the Philippine concert dates, you have no idea how much we wanted them. Thank you for making them accessible to us!
To our friends from other Jonas Fan clubs around the world, the support you showed us on Twitter and Facebook in the weeks leading up to and after the concert was incredible. It just goes to show that our fan base is more than just that–it’s a family. Thank you for helping us make it the best experience ever. Maraming, maraming salamat!
And of course, to the JBnoys, without whom we would not even have a fan base, thank you so much for dreaming and believing and sticking around. Six years of waiting is not an easy feat, and as we grew up, we also moved on to other bands, other loves. But when their hiatus drew to a close and we started hearing rumors of a possible Philippine concert, you guys came back in full force and showed us that when it comes to bands, you never really forget your first love. For the fanmeets, the radio rallies, voting rallies, parties, launches, and even those simple late-night conversations on YM and Facebook and Twitter, thank you. You guys are made of all sorts of awesome, and nothing will ever compare to the friendships that have been made through this journey of having faith and holding on. Cheesy as it may seem to be, that concert would not have been the same without all of you there, and there is only one song that we would like to dedicate to you for the loyalty you’ve shown:

We hope we haven’t missed anyone! The Jonas Brothers are gearing up for an awesome comeback, and we hope all of you will be a part of it. Exciting things are coming, and we’re looking forward to keep dancing until tomorrow, feeling alive and flying with you. <3
